Meet Princess Abby, a four-year-old purebred chihuahua with a mug only a mother could love.

With piles of personality, a unique look, and some unusual dance moves, the 6-pound canine easily won the title of “World’s Ugliest Dog” at the 22nd Annual Sonoma-Marin Fair in Petaluma, California on June 25.

Kathleen Francis, of Clearlake, California, adopted Princess Abby from a local veterinarian five months ago and was shocked when judges announced that it was her beloved pet that beat out a gallery of other pooches to put her paws on the less than flattering title and a $1,000 cash prize.

“I don’t think she’s ugly at all. I think she’s the most beautiful dog, Francis told The Orlando Sentinel last week.
