Prince Harry, who has served multiple tours in Afghanistan for the crew member of an Apache attack helicopter, is now confirming that he, himself killed multiple members of the Taliban during his last tour.

The 28-year old Prince recently discussed his missions with several reporters, while still deployed and on active duty at Camp Bastion. Harry, who co-pilots an Apache attack helicopter said, sometimes actions were justified to “take a life to save a life. That’s what we revolve around, I suppose.”

Harry also discussed that changes in his role, comparinng the different tours he has served in. “Now, yes we fire when we have to but essentially we’re more of a deterrent than anything else. Our job out here is to make sure the guys are safe on the ground and if that means shooting someone who is shooting at them, then we will do it,” said Prince Harry.
