President Barack Obama is considered for an appearance on the long-running animated sitcom, The Simpsons.

Show executive producers, James L Brooks and Al Jean, hope Obama will become the first sitting president to appear on the show.

“We’d love to have Barack on the show. No president has agreed to do it yet but we’ll keep asking,” Brooks remarked in an interview with TV Biz this week. “We’re putting all the right signals out.”
