President Obama Praises Nurses Following Sasha Obama Meningitis Scare

During Thursday’s White House Internet Town Hall Meeting, President Obama recalled the family’s fight for the life of their youngest daughter when she was just three-months-old. Sasha Obama, who is now 7, was hospitalized with potentially-fatal meningitis just after she was born.
“When Sasha – “our little precious pea” – was just three months old, she was hospitalized with life-threatening meningitis….Very dangerous,” the President told a nurse in the audience.
“The doctors did a terrific job,” he continued. “But frankly, it was the nurses that were there with us when she had to get a spinal tap, and all sorts of things that were just bringing me to tears.”
Fortunately, Sasha recovered from the meningitis with the help of her nurses.
“I’m biased toward nurses,” he said. “I just like nurses.”

I always thought Obama is all rounded person. But he proved wrong with this statement. Either he doesn’t know the difference between the work of doctors or nurses or he is too much jealous of doctors. That was so naive to say that. As a president, he shouldn’t bias any profession like that. Does he know how hard you have to study and practice to become a doctor, and does he know, how many patients doctor has to see in a day. If doctors will sit and wait for every patients like nurses who are confined to only one room, (while doctors have to run from tens of such rooms…) then he should give millions of quotas for doctors so that they can provide superior care like nurses and sit one to one. And if sasha’s meningitis was so dangerous, so he thinks with nurses’ intelligence she was cured?? without doctor’s decision?? grow up obama. I was up to obama but he is too innocent to say like that. He should watch and study before he says something about others.
