President Bush Dog Barney Bites Reporter Jon Decker (Video)

Don’t let the furry face fool you, Barney is not taking Barack Obama’s victory in stride. The Presidential pooch will be leaving the White House soon and all of this Election 2008 coverage has the usually mild-mannered Scottish terrier feeling a little territorial and cranky…very cranky.
Reuters White House correspondent Jon Decker says Barney tried to have his finger for breakfast during his walk on the North Lawn this morning.
Apparently, Barney wasn’t in a belly-rubbing kinda mood.
He “bit my right index finger this morning — as I reached down to pet him,” Decker explains. The bite broke skin and the wound was bleeding, but Decker will be fine. He was treated with antibiotics by White House physican Dr. Richard Tubb. He will also be getting a tetanus shot.
