The new First Family, which includes the President-Elect, his wife of 16 years, Michelle Obama, and the couple’s two daughters, Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, will move into The White House on Inauguration Day January 20, 2009.
I really don’t have words right now. This is a very emotional moment….one I didn’t think I’d see in my lifetime. It is a moment that proves that no barrier, not even race, can hold you back if you don’t allow it to.
Obama’s election is also proof that the people of America want CHANGE. So let’s hope he keeps that promise.
