It is not my place to judge these people. I simply am confused! What is the anatomy of this person? And why was the wife in this relationship not the 1 to have the baby? If this “man” was able to give birth naturally, how is he considered a man and is legally married to a woman?

Why didn’t these people just adopt a child….the whole story is ridiculous. Thomas sounds like a confused IT to me, it is totally unrealistic emotionally to think you are a both a man and a woman at the same time. Hope the children don’t have weird issues growing up in regards to the wacky behavior of their parents. Jeez

Unfortunately, as long as gay marriage is outlawed so many places people like this woman (and she is female, no matter what she got a paper saying she is, that’s how she got pregnant) will play legalistic games to achieve their marriages.

If some chin hair and no breasts made a woman male you’d have to call me “Mister”! Main difference is I pluck MY hag hairs.

Maybe I should stop plucking and sell myself as the first “PMSing Man”.

This is getting ridiculous beyond belief. What a low point we have sunk to, to make a big storyout of such a dumb and wrong situation. We glorify homosexuality and unnatural acts like this by giving them too much air time. No wonder our children are growing up without any idea of what it means to be a ‘normal’ human being. Man or woman? What am I? Too much for a child to deal with.

First of all, I agree with the first blogger said in this post about the story.

Second, why are doctors or smart people letting this charade continue. No other man or men on this planet have a female reproductive system.

The ability to give birth is a female characteristic, so why are doctors continuing to let this person feed the media this B.S.

A uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries to give birth are anatomy parts of a woman and the characteristics of a woman. Therefore, this person is a woman more than anything else.

A man and his anatomy is defined as having one set of genitals specific to all other men. That is not the case here.

So, we can’t and shouldn’t be calling this person a man.

The person should choose one gender and go with that one. Apparently to give birth to a child, they have already choosen which one.

For another scenario, they can accept the third type of gender, which is a hermaphrodite and be called that, but they can’t be or be called a man.

But who would want to be a freak as an hermaphrodite, so this person needs help and accept one sex over the other and doctors should let this charade go on knowing full well that the ability to give birth to another human being with a uterus, ovaries, and fallopian tubes is exclusively a title of and for a woman.

I am all for love and family of different makeups. But here’s the thing for me – If you are a man or want to make the transition to being a man, and recognized and accepted as a man – giving birth vaginally makes it hard to hold to that view. It is impossible not to be viewed a side show when TOM (pregnant man who is really a woman) is inseminated and invites the media.
If you decide to do what is natural to her/his makeup – Tom should not be labeled a man. Unless of course Tom is a Sea Horse

Pregnant Man is a Woman so why are we making such a big deal about this woman having a baby?

She has gone off of the male hormones so that she can be what she is “A Female” so it is very disturbing that she is being presented as the first male anything.

Has the lg and bs community weighed in on this story?

It seems to me that this does a disservice to those lg and bs who are trying to gain mainstream acceptance as this freakish individual tries to exploit the idea that she is a pregnant male.

Show me a gay male with a pregnant belly and that will be news-worthy.

There is nothing note worthy about two lesbians with a baby, it happens all the time and without fanfare and they are not freaks of nature or need to be paraded about.
