Pink Glove Dance Spreads Breast Cancer Awareness [VIDEO]

1

A video on YouTube that was created to get more people thinking about breast cancer has become a viral sensation. More than 200 hospital staff at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Oregon volunteered to wear pink gloves and show off their best moves in a video set to Jay Sean and Lil Wayne’s “Down.”

And the world loves it.

“Breast cancer is an important cause for the employees at our hospital, as well as the entire community,” says Martie Moore, chief nursing officer for the hospital. “The video was a really fun and creative way for our employees to help spread awareness about breast cancer.”

The 3 1/2 minute video has been viewed more than 2 million times since it was posted on Nov. 13.
