Phil Spector Guilty In Lana Clarkson Murder
A jury has found music legend Phil Spector guilty of second degree murder in the 2003 shooting death of 40-year-old actress Lana Clarkson. The B-movie star was found shot dead in a chair in the foyer of Spector’s mansion in Alahambra, California. There was a gunshot wound through the roof of her mouth.
Spector’s first trial in the homicide ended in a mistrial in September 2007.
The eccentric producer, a fixture on the ’60s pop/rock scene, faces a life sentence behind bars.
