Hollywood actor Peter O’Toole has died. After a long illness, the star passed away in his native Britain on Saturday. He was 81.
During his career, he earned eight Oscar nominations including an honorary Oscar in 2003. O’Toole — who survived stomach cancer in the 1970s — is well known for his starring role in the 1962 film, Lawrence of Arabia and other Tinseltown classics, like The Lion in Winter, Becket, and Goodbye, Mr. Chips.
