Bronx Mowgli, this is your father: Pete Wentz lost a bet, and tattooed a pal’s face on his leg…..It’s not too soon to make a run for it, Bronx!

The bipolar emo-boy bassist, famously of Fall Out Boy, has been involved in a prank war with Cobra Starship singer Gabe Saporta for months. It all started after Pete arrived at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards wearing Gabe’s phone number on a t-shirt. Gabe responded by revealing Pete’s email address at the Spanish MTV Awards… but the worst was obviously yet to come.

“Well, I promised Gabe if [his band's song] ‘Good Girls Go Bad’ went platinum, I would let him pick a tattoo to put on me,” Pete said last week. “A man with such humble beginnings, of course, chose a self-portrait.”

Not just a self-portrait – the tatt also features the inscription “Gabey Baby Made Me Go Bad.”

“I held through with the bet,” Pete explained. “But let’s see if Gabe holds through with his end of the bet if [Gabe's band's album] goes gold.”
