The notorious leaked photos of Pete Wentz’ penis were the beginning of the Fall Out Boy’s unlikely love story with wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.

Pete Wentz says when cell phone pictures of his genitals hit the Internet two years ago, it was Ashlee who helped him get over the public shame. After all, the “Pieces of Me” star had just been through a whirlwind of publicity for lip-syncing on Saturday Night Live.

“She just called me up and made me feel a lot better,” Pete says in the December issue of Details.
