Star Magazine has an interesting theory on Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson’s bizarre decision to name their first son after one of New York’s five boroughs.

Tabloid moles believe classic Disney films may not be the only obsession for the young newlyweds. Pete and Ashlee are such reportedly huge fans of Hollywood power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie that they followed the pair’s lead when it came to adopting a moniker for Baby Bronx Wentz.

They copied the super couple’s practice of ending their sons’ names with an X-Maddox, Pax, Knox, and now Bronx, Star writes in its December 15 edition. “Ashlee worried about being perceived as a copycat, so Pete labored over a name that was similar but unique.”

Unique….yeah…that’s one way of putting it!

Pete “has a man crush on Brad,” a blabbing pal whispers. And Ashlee is just as fond of Angelina, says the source.

“She wore black maxi dresses throughout her pregnancy, copying Angie. And privately, she gushes about how she wants to follow Angie’s lead and do more philanthropic work.”
