Ashlee Simpson and her Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz are not engaged. The New York Post’s Page Six first speculated on said engagement after the singer rocked a ring on her left finger while co-hosting the New Year’s Eve 2008 celebration at Miami’s Shore Club with BF Pete Wentz, but rumors of a walk down the aisle for the twenty-somethings were sparked as far back as early November.

Her rep tells Us Magazine: “Ashlee is not engaged,” says a rep for the couple.
