The Wentz’ will welcome the arrival of their first baby bundle this October, and the expectant parents are already getting a headstart on shopping. Over the weekend, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz dropped almost $1,000 on infant must-haves, like organic blankets, Adiri bottles - and a Huddy Buddy onesie that reads, “I’m just like my dad,” from LA’s celebrity baby boutique Petit Tresor, the New York Daily News reports. According to the National Enquirer, Pete and Ash have no immediate plans for a blowout baby shower, but the newlyweds are still letting friends and family know what they need for their little via a baby registry at Babies ‘R’ Us.

“This baby is the biggest thing to hit the Simpson clan since the girls became stars! All their friends and familiy are so excited to start buying cute baby stuff that Ashlee and Pete finally decided to register,” a National Enquirer source says. “Now that the wedding’s over, Ashlee and Pete have shifted into baby mode.”

Pete and Ashlee’s baby registry includes a $900 Stokke stroller, an organic pillow slipcover, a child’s tent designed by Toys ‘R’ Us, and naturally lots of baby blankets and onesies.
