PETA Taps Paris Hilton For Chicken Cruelty Campaign

Animal-rights group PETA has written to Paris Hilton in jail asking her to become their next spokesperson campaigning against cruelty to chickens.
“We’re asking Paris to narrate our Kentucky Fried Cruelty video showing how chickens are routinely crammed into tiny cages and suffer broken wings and legs,” PETA representative Dan Mathews says of the campaign that would feature a real-life chickenhead championing for other members of the feathered flock. “Unlike inmates at the jail in L.A., these animals get no reprieve or medical treatment.”
“When Martha Stewart was incarcerated we wrote her and got a very friendly reply saying that she’d stopped wearing fur, and when she got sprung she narrated PETA’s anti-fur video, still watchable at PETATV.com,” he continued.
