PETA Has Bone To Pick With Kim Kardashian
The animal rights activists at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals have pounced on Kim Kardashian after the fashion-conscious reality socialite was photographed prancing around New York City in two fur coats in a matter of just a few hours.
PETA has taken aim at Kim for stepping out on Monday afternoon wearing a knee-length brown jacket which appeared to be made of real animal pelts. Kim further provoked fury by changing her outfit later in the day — to a short black mink! The brunette bombshell’s younger sister Khloe stripped down to her birthday suit for the organization’s “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” campaign in 2008, but her anti-fur stance has yet to rub off on sisters Kourtney and Kim.
“Kim Kardashian is a woman who has everything – except, it seems, an ounce of sympathy for the animals who have the fur ripped off their backs so that she can purchase yet another gaudy jacket. We wish she would take a cue from her fur-free sister, Khloe Kardashian – but evidently, kindness and generosity don’t run in the family,” the group fumed in a scathing diss hurled at Kim.
