PETA Blasts Britney Spears “Circus” Music Video
Brit’s angling for a spot on PETA’s next Worst-Dressed List.
The outspoken animal rights group has blasted the pop star for her use of animals in her latest music video, Circus.
PETA writes:
As Britney is such a victim of the paparazzi and always complaining and crying about how she hates to be held up in her guarded house and can’t feel free, she of all people should be able to relate to the horror that captive animals go through when they’re used for entertainment.
It sounds like the folks over at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals have got a “Trollsen Twins-style” intervention in store for Ms. Spears.
…We’re not takin’ this sitting down. We’ve got a killer action alert ready for those of you who want to fight with us and tell Brit to stop using animals in her acts, once and for all.

Thanks for the mention! Britney must be unaware of all the cruelty that goes into her music videos, with that sheltered life. You can read more about it here: http://www.peta.org/mc/factsheet_entertainment.asp

I can’t, for the life of me, understand why its cruel to show animals in music videos? I always thought that it shows how they love animals…Its not like she’s abusing them or mistreating them. So, I say, until I see a video of where she chops a poor animal’s head off, gtfo. Honestly.
