On Monday, Lily Allen and Perez Hilton continued their ongoing feud by posting a series of insult-laced blubs on their respective Twitter pages.

The pair exchanged pleasantries over the social networking website, which included Lily branding the celebrity gossip blogger a “little parasite” and Perez blasting back at the “washed-up” Lily.

The trouble started after Perez noted that Lily is casting the music video for her next single and called on readers to suggest him for a part.

“Oh, I’m sorry, we’ve already cast the jealous and bitter lonely old queen role. Next time eh?” Lily twittered.

Of course, Perez just had to respond: “Jealous of who? David Beckham, maybe. And if I wanted to be a f***ed up Brit, I’d rather be Amy Winehouse – whose got talent.”

Hilton added: “Aw, u can see I’ve lost weight! I am a littler Perez. But I’m still a big fat c*** – just like U! That’s why I lova ya. Xoxo P.S. Thanks for advertising on my website. I’ll take your money (or the label’s) anytime!”

“I know you will, and that’s what makes you a cheap a** whore. Now leave me alone, stop following me, I’m working. Bye x x,” Lily wrote before signing off.

Both parties spoke out about their feud in an interview with Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush on Tuesday:

“I hate him,” Lily said of Perez. “He really pushes my buttons sometimes. I think that he’s really mean to young successful women. He calls women… trying to enjoy themselves ‘sluts and ‘trainwrecks’, and I think it’s just a really vile way of carrying on. I don’t think it’s responsible in any way.”

Perez, on the other hand, admits “It was very childish,” the acid-tongued pop culture fanatic likens the online banter as “a bit of back and forth like schoolchildren.”

“[It's] sad because I don’t hate her. I actually really enjoy her,” he confessed. “She’s just upset that I point out every time she’s a hot mess, which is quite often…[S]he doesn’t like having her own words and actions thrown back at her, but that’s my job.

“That doesn’t mean that I can’t appreciate her music – that, I do.”
