Pennsylvania Republican Congressman compares Obamacare to 9/11
The Pride of Pennsylvania, Republican Congressman Mike Kelly, made a comment today that shouldn’t go unnoticed.
During a speech today on the Floor of Congress, Kelly made his feelings known about Obamacare, specifically options for women under the Presidents new health plan. “I know in your mind you can think of the times America was attacked. One is December 7 — that is Pearl Harbor Day. Another was September 11 — that was the day of the terrorist attack. I want you to remember August 1, 2012 — the attack on our religious freedom. That is a date that will live in infamy, along with those other dates.,” Kelly said.
The contraception that is now being forced to be covered under Obamacare has upset Kelly. While addressing Congress Kelly also called it, “a travesty that women wouldn’t be paying hundreds of dollars a year in copays.”
He can’t be serious? Can we please nominate Congressman Kelly to Anderson Cooper’s The RidicuList?
