Jingle bells and wedding bells will go hand and hand for Academy Award-winning actress Penelope Cruz this December: the Spanish actress is reportedly planning a wedding to long-standing boyfriend Javier Bardem.

Javier and Penelope will reportedly wed in a ceremony next month and the Spanish star is feverishly on the hunt for the dress she’ll wear on her big day.

“They will marry very soon, maybe even over the holidays. Since she and Javier are from Spain, she’d love to have a Spanish designer create her dream gown,” a tipster tattled to In Touch Weekly Magazine this week.

Penelope’s dress could be created by the House of Balenciaga – which was founded by Spanish designer Cristobal Balenciaga. The fashion house also designed the gown actress Salma Hayek wore when she tied the knot with billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault earlier this year.

“Salma’s dress was specifically designed for her by the company’s creative director, Nicolas Ghesquiere, and it was just beautiful. I’m sure they would be more than thrilled to create a gown for Penelope, it will be the most important dress of her life,” the insider spilled.
