Paula Abdul has pulled the plug on scheduled appearance on the Today Show’s 2008 Summer Concert Series because the legendary dancer is afraid of performing live.
The American Idol judge was supposed to perform her single “Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow” on Today in April, but cancelled that gig because of “production commitments.” The performance was rescheduled for August 29, but that show, too, was cancelled last Friday-Paula says she has “Idol commitments.”
“Please. She can’t perform live. Her voice on the single is so mixed and electro nicized you don’t know what she really sounds like any more,” a spy tells the New York Post.

maybe she just needs to perform a few times times to a Smaller audience before shes ready to go back on a big stage again. give her a freakin break. so what if shes nervous of the big stage. who wouldnt be if you have been away 12 years. that doesnt mean she will never be ready again.
