It is so painful to see her struggle with the aftermath of her poor choices based in her indulged problems and psychological issues. She is drugged by compensatory pharmacological prescriptions that will never address the underlying angst and bi-polar behaviors she struggles with. Paula will have to cut back on her activities and sequester herself from the myriad of projects and hanger-ons in order to get well. She complains of her exhaustion constantly but is so completely unwilling to put and an end to her self-destructive and self-abusive celebrity lifestyle. She will make hay while the sun is shining, except she is quickly blotting out the sun with her own destructive behavior. She has become another disfunctional celebrity who like so many other celebs, is desperately cashing in on the reality TV voyeurist genre. Her persona has become a true cartoonesque icon of disfunction. She is a cautionary tale of the damage caused by placing celebrity and commercial popularity over personal health and psychological well-being. Let us all learn from Paula's sadness and pray that either she or someone she trusts can help her find the guidance necessary to allow her to regain an emotional center. If she never had a center of stability and personal mind/body integrity, let's pray that she acquires one with as little damage to her person as is necessary for her to wake up and discover a path toward a healthy life.
