Paula Abdul “Australian Idol” Job Offer
Former American Idol judge Paula Abdul has been offered a spot on Australian Idol, RadarOnline.com reports.
The 47-year-old former pop star recently announced she would not be returning to her post as a judge on American Idol when the show kicks off its ninth season on FOX in January. In the week since announcing her departure, Paula’s been offered gigs on reality juggernauts like So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing With The Stars, and even TV dramedy Ugly Betty. Now the star’s been approached by the Aussie version of America’s most-watched TV talent show.
In fact, Australian Idol producers have already “put their request to strike a deal with her in writing,” Radar claims.
Last week, Paula revealed that she has been flooded with job offers since leaving American Idol.
“At this point, there are so many wonderful things that are being offered to me. And I got to take a deep breath, sleep a little… and go through everything,” she said.
