Too bad her CBS dancing show wasn’t this entertaining! All-new audio has surfaced of former American Idol judge Paula Abdul making a frantic call to 911 in which she pleads for help in trying to escape her boyfriend’s car after an apparent argument.
“I want out of this car and he won’t let me,” a sobbing Paula yelped to an emergency operator in a call made on Valentine’s Day.
Abdul tells the operator she’s on the 101 freeway in Santa Barbara. As the operator attempts to locate the vehicle, Paula can be heard yelling to her boyfriend:
“Are you going to drop me off? Because I have emergency on the phone! Drop me off!”
The audio ends as Abdul tells the operator that her boyfriend has agreed to drop her off.
The report comes on the heels of others claiming that Abdul was devastated by the abrupt cancellation of her CBS series, Live to Dance. At least there’s one silver in Paula’s clouds. In aa new interview with AccessHollywood.com’s Laura Saltman, chum Simon Cowell confirmed that George Michael, former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger, Mariah Carey, and PA are all being considered for positions of the judges’ panel of his upcoming reality hit, The X Factor.
