Music legend Paul McCartney has pulled the plug on a tour of Japan, as well as a scheduled performance in South Korea, after being hospitalized in the Far East with a viral infection. This, of course, according to still unconfirmed reports out of Asia.
A statement from the musician’s manager called the cancellations “unavoidable.” McCartney had been scheduled to perform his first concert in South Korea at a Seoul stadium on May 28. The undisclosed illness already forced the Beatles legend to miss his four dates in Japan, including two in Tokyo last weekend.
McCartney — who turns 72 in June — is still scheduled to bring his world tour Stateside next month.
