It was a bit of a painful weekend for celebuteen Patrick Schwarzenegger.
The 18-year-old son of former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and his estranged wife Maria Shriver was hospitalized in Sun Valley, Idaho on Saturday after being injured in what he described as a “little ski accident.”
The third of the Schwarzeneggers’ four children was transported to a local hospital — on a stretcher wearing a breathing mask — after making a wrong turn on the slopes. On his WhoSay page, Schwarzenegger posted several TwitPics of himself being transported to the emergency room. One photo of Patrick’s lower back showed a bloody, deep gash.
“Little ski accident today. Some bruises and stiches [sic] down back and but. [sic] Thanks to sun valley [sic] doctors for everything,” the teen tweeted.
In 2011, the youngest Schwarzenegger, 14-year-old Christopher, hospitalized after a body boarding accident in Malibu.
Patrick is a senior in high school and a part-time model. He was featured in a Details magazine spread just before a sex scandal rocked his parents 25 year marriage in 2011.
Arnold and Maria called it quits after the journalist discovered that her husband fathered a child after a brief affair with the family housekeeper back in the late ’90s.
