Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan have infuriated Florida club owners after failing to fulfill their end of a contract for an event they were booked to host last weekend.

Sam and LiLo had originally been scheduled to appear at Passion, a nightclub in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, on Valentine’s Day, but both declared they were “too ill” to fly and cancelled their appearance.

The girls agreed to make up for the gig by hosting a party at the club on Saturday, but officials at the Hard Rock Hotel claim they refused to abide by their deal to pose on the red carpet.

A press release from the event manager blast Lindsay and Samantha: “I wanted to take this time to apologize for the debacle last night at Passion Nightclub. Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson appeared at the club but did not fulfill their commitment to appear on the red carpet for a photo opportunity with media. Eventually we brought all media inside the club but the combination of poor lighting and Lohan and Ronson hiding from the media made it impossible for media to get photos.”

“Last night was an embarrassment for myself and I am ashamed… I will not go in to the issues, miscommunications and poor decisions by non-casino staff that led to last night’s disaster, but I do assure you these mistakes will be addressed and this type of debacle will NEVER be allowed to happen again.”
