Paris Hilton To Testify In “Pledge This!” Breach Of Contract Trial
Socialite Paris Hilton will take the stand in a Miami, Florida court on Friday to defend herself against allegations that she failed to adequately promote her 2006 big screen stinker Pledge This!
The hotel heiress is being sued for breach of contract by Worldwide Entertainment Group Inc., who claim she neglected her obligation to promote the film — even skipping out on appearances on The Tonight Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live. The plaintiffs are seeking $8 million in damages.
Pledge This! cost $7.5 million to make but earned only about $2.9 million.
