Rich Prosecco sparkling wine in a can has failed to take off, despite a multimillion ad campaign starring socialite Paris Hilton. According to Britain’s The Sun, thousands of cases of the Austrian-imported beverage have been sitting in warehouses around the world for months.
But owner Guenther Aloys is quick to caution that Paris’ endorsement it not to blame for Prosecco’s poor performance.
“She is the perfect advert for our product. We have several new campaigns that are already being planned.”
