Paris Hilton PETA Open Letter

Paris Hilton is being slammed by animal rights campaigners People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) for her growing brood of animals-at last count the socialite owned twenty-five.

PETA has accused the hotel heiress of encouraging others to buy pets as accessories. The animal rights group also believe Paris’ recent acquisition of Jimi Hendrix (a Chihuahua) and Cinderella (a Yorkie) from a pet store in Beverly Hills are setting bad examples for young fans to follow.
PETA president Ingrid Newkirk has penned an open letter to Paris: “Perhaps you (Paris) and other vacuous stars need to tattoo ‘Don’t buy while pound pups die’ on your foreheads to remind each other of that home truth.” =
