Paris Hilton insists Eminem knew nothing about the humiliation that was headed his way at the hands of Sacha Baron Cohen during Sunday night’s MTV Movie Awards – because friends behind the scenes told her to expect a big surprise at the ceremony.

According to Life & Style Weekly, the socialite was original targeted as the “victim” of the stunt, but decided not to participate after learning that a suspended Cohen’s bare backside would be stuck in her face as part of the deal. P.H. wouldn’t confirm that, but she’s convinced that the Eminem-Borat involuntary 69 was not publicity stunt.

“I don’t think he (Eminem) knew because I talked to someone who was running the show before and he said a big surprise was gonna happen and the person didn’t know it was gonna happen,” Paris explains.

And Paris isn’t surprised Eminem stormed out of the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles after getting an upclose and personal eyeful of Sacha’s naughty bits: “I think anyone would be mad if something was, like, in your face like that… It was very odd.”
