Joke of The Day: Paris Hilton has only slept with “a couple of people.”

Despite enjoying high-profile romances with former Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, Good Charlotte star Benji Madden, and Greek heir Stavros Niarchos, the 27-year-old reality TV personality and hotel heiress fiercely insists that she has only been intimate with a few men because “she respects herself too much.”

Yeah, right. And pigs have wings. We’d be more impressed if Paris could name five men who haven’t seen her naked.

Paris, a herpes sufferer known on the Hollywood circuit as a little shop of STDs, says her love life is mostly comprised of passionate kissing and sensual touching.

“I’ve only done it (had sex) with a couple of people. People make up stories, but mostly I just kiss,” Paris, who is currently in Europe promoting her upcoming ITV reality series, says in the February 2009 issue of Glamour UK.

“I think it’s important to play hard to get,” she says. “Nobody wants the fake Prada bag; they want the brand new bag that no one can get and is the most expensive. If you give it up to a guy he won’t respect you; he’ll want you much more if he can’t have you.”
