Kanye West has already appointed himself “the voice of our generation,” and now Paris Hilton has stepped forward to accept “icon of the decade” honors. The world is going to Hell in a handbasket!
In an interview with E! News over the weekend, the sex-crazed socialite compared herself to fellow blondes Marilyn Monroe and Princess Diana, explaining that the women’s timeless influence on pop culture mirrors her own.
“There’s nobody in the world like me. I think every decade has an iconic blonde, like Marilyn Monroe or Princess Diana and, right now, I’m that icon.”
It’s amazing what the ego does to protect itself.
