David Letterman left Paris Hilton near tears during the heiress’ appearance on ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ on Friday night. The former ‘Century Regional Correctional Facility’ inmate has vowed to never return to the Big Apple’s late night staple.

An audience member shouted, “I love you Paris!”

Letterman said, “Is that somebody you met in prison?”

The crowd went wild with laughter and applause.

Paris replied with a pout on her face and nearly a tear in her eye, “I didn’t come here to talk about this. That was a long time ago. Now you’re making me sad that I came.”

I’m sick and tired of the Lindsay Lohan jokes, the Britney-bashing, and the whole damn 21st Century mindset. I call it the ‘new meanness’.
Yeah. Right. Go after ‘em…the privileged, the wealthy. Bring ‘em down a few pegs!
Whatever one may think of Ms. Hilton, she is entitled to the dignity and respect that an interviewee should receive.
I’m surprised at Letterman. As a well-seasoned talk show host, I would have expected better of him.

Raj, I totally agree. Letterman is disgusting for what he did there. To tear someone down for the delight of self and others is the province of cowards
