Paris Hilton isn’t having the best of weeks, is she? First she finds herself being investigated by the police on a charge of carrying cocaine (which she not so cleverly claims she thought was “gum”) and now it looks as though she’s going to be being banned from Vegas nightclubs because of it!

One day after unidentified Sin City social climbers expressed apprehension about conducting any further business with the scandal-scarred socialite, a Wynn and Encore spokesperson has confirmed to PEOPLE that PH has been banned from the companies’ two Las Vegas casino-resorts. Possibly permanently.

Tough break.

Cy Waits, Paris’ boyfriend, had just been promoted to Head of Nightclub Operations for the Wynn and Encore Resort Company. Waits was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol after the couple’s weekend arrest. As a result, he has since been fired — or as Wynn-Encore bosses calls it “separated” — from his job as managing partner of the Tryst Nightclub at Wynn and XS The Nightclub at Encore.

Hilton and Waits were pulled over at 11:22 PM Friday when a motorcycle cop detected a “strong odor of marijuana” flowing out her passenger side window. Cops later found cocaine in a plastic baggy in the heiress’ handbag.

Paris was arrested on one count of possession of cocaine and faces up to four years in a Nevada prison if convicted.
