Jessica Simpson’s Major Movie Star will finally see the light of day in a nation where English is the primary language, well sorta.

The Private Benjamin-inspired monstrosity, panned as “possibly one of the worst movies ever made” by the talking heads at Rotten Tomatoes, will be renamed Private Valentine: Blonde & Dangerous and released straight-to-DVD in America later this year, US Magazine reports.

Despite its bad press, the film managed to open No. 1 in Russia earlier this month. Go figure.

In honor of the 25th anniversary of the iconic Cabbage Patch Kids, the makers of CPK have teamed up with Toys for Tots to create and auction four one-of-a-kind dolls created in the likeness of the 2008 presidential nominees.

All proceeds from the online auction, which ends at 5 AM on Election Day November 4, will benefit the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
