Another day, another job offer for Paula Abdul. The former American Idol judge has reportedly finalized a deal to bring her pop vocals and legendary dancing talent to the bright lights of Broadway. Paula has joined the cast of the Tony-winning musical In The Heights. She’ll make her debut on the Great White Way in a limited engagement beginning later this year, according to reports.
In addition, Paula is already on the road back to reality TV: She’s said to be in talks with NBC about starring in a new performance competition show alongside High School Musical director and choreographer Kenny Ortega.

Madonna’s new Dolce & Gabbana line of sunshades could be in for some competition from another controversial pop tart. We hear fashion risk-taker Lady Gaga may be following in the trendy footsteps of the Material Mom with the debut of her own collection of sunglasses.
Gaga is rumored to be in discussions with London-based designer Linda Farrow to collaborate on a line of sunblocking eyewear.
Farrow recently launched sunglasses created by singer Roisin Murphy.
The wait is over: The first trailer for Edgar Wright’s film adaptation of the wildly-popular graphic novel Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, starring eternal nerd Michael Cera, made it’s internet debut on Thursday.
Synopsis: “Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera), bass guitarist for the garage band Sex Bob-omb, has just met the girl of his dreams. However, he must defeat Ramona Flowers’ (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) seven evil ex-boyfriends, who are coming to kill him…..”
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World karate chops its way into theaters on Aug. 13.
American Idol Season 6 finalist Sanjaya Malakar likes living in the fast lane….and apparently he likes driving in it, too. The Washington State native — known for his breathy vocals and ponyhawked hair — was pulled over at 2:30 AM Tuesday after The Fuzz clocked him traveling at a speed of 110mph on a freeway just outside Seattle. That’s more than 50 miles over the speed limit.
State troopers say Sanjaya, 20, will not face reckless driving charges but he will have to pay a $411 ticket.
