Kate Hudson has dumped recent flame, comedian Dax Shepard in hopes of another go with suicidal ex, Owen Wilson. The couple had dated for more than three months, and pictures of them kissing are believed to have to led Owen’s attempt on his life in August.

“Dax was just pushing her too hard … coming on too strong,” says another Hollywood insider.

Kate went running from the relationship after Dax proposed marriage after just a short time of dating. Given her recent divorce from Chris Robinson, “you can understand that Kate wanted to really go slow — when it came to developing any kind of relationship.”

Kate is currently undergoing extensive therapy to figure out what went wrong with her marriage to Chris her complicated relationship with her mother, Goldie Hawn.

“This all makes total sense,” says a friend. “Kate wants to get her head on straight — certainly before she makes another trip down the aisle — with anyone!”
