Oscars pay tribute to Musicals; Chicago, Dream Girls and Les Miserable honored at the Oscars
The theme of the 85th Annual Academy Awards was Music in Movies.
Throughout the live broadcast, music from many legendary films were used to user in out and the broadcast as well as the Jaws theme…when speeches went to long (Way to keep it classy Oscar producers).
Catherine Zeta-Jones started off the tribute with an amazing performance of All That Jazz, from her Oscar-winning role in Chicago. Fellow Oscar-winner, Jennifer Hudson then took the stage for a great performance of “I’m Telling You I’m Not Going” and the tribute wrapped with a full-cast performance from Les Miserables starring, Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Eddie Redmayne, Amanda Seyfried, Helena Bonham Carter, Sacha Baron Cohen and even Russell Crowe.
Did you enjoy the Oscars?
