The original music video for Britney Spears‘ charttopper ‘Gimme More’ was too hot for TV. The vid was to have premiered on MTV on September 20, but executives ordered it to be cut as it was thought too provocative. (Watch The Video Here)

The video began with Britney meeting a man at a funeral, and going with him to a club. At the club, Britney was kidnapped, then taken to a hotel where she was tied to a chair and beaten by brunette Stripper Britney. A photo taken on the set at the time of filming showed the Stripper Britney character in a funeral outfit of black hat, veil, and a halter-top mini dress.
