Oprah Plays Secret Santa for Military Families in New “Favorite Things Special”

Oprah Winfrey is making a lot of deserving people very happy just in time for the holiday.
The lucky recipients of the media mogul’s generosity are none other than the spouses of the men and women of the Armed Forces. Yep, military families be featured when the Oprah’s Favorite Things Special returns to the small screen. Nov. 18.
Over the course of the past year, Madame O has been playing Santa to 20 random military families, without any of them being the wiser.
“For a solid year I sent secret gifts,” she tells Entertainment Tonight. “Nobody knew it was me ’til this moment.”
High-definition television sets, game consoles and gift cards were just some of the cool presents landing on the doorsteps of America’s bravest.
