After missing her seventh deposition in the ongoing custody battle with ex-hubby Kevin Federline on Wednesday, Britney Spears has just one last opportunity to be deposed or the court could end up giving K-Fed permanent custody of the singer’s two toddlers.

“To be precise, it’s actually two appointments she must keep,” the insider tells OK!.

“If she fails to show up,” explains one case insider, “[Kevin's lawyer] Mark Vincent Kaplan will likely ask the judge to award Kevin complete and permanent custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James.”

“Kevin’s lawyer will probably ask for the trial to go ahead as planned on April 9, but without allowing Britney’s team to depose anymore witnesses for Kevin’s side of the case.”
