Contrary to a recent tabloid report, Eric Dane does not have skin cancer. OK! Magazine’s cover story, “My Fight Against Cancer,” claiming Grey’s Anatomy’s Dr. Steamy is battling cancer, is being blasted as a “misrepresentation.” Eric’s rep claims he did have malignant tissue removed, but he “does NOT have cancer.”

OK! Magazine did not report that Eric Dane currently had cancer, only that he did have cancer in the past. Eric Dane opened up to OK! Magazine about a “malignancy” that was”cancerous,” and the story, with Eric’s help, is about his malignant tissue, its removal and the complications and weight loss that the procedure caused. It also chronicles how he went about dealing with it in the most effective and appropriate way possible. In addition to being news, Eric’s story was intended to be a lesson to the public on proactively managing their own well-being. We hope this clears up any “misrepresentation.” Thanks for your time and space;)

Yeah! Right! I don’t believe you ‘ok’. Your a magazine. How else would you stay in business if you didn’t lie once in a while about celebrities, for people to buy your magazine. It’s your job. It’s what you get paid to do. So do me and half the entire nation of people who do buy your magazine. Spare us any explanations.
