The new OK Go video has already been seen more than 2 million times!
Three years ago, the band’s clip for “Here It Goes Again” became one of the Most-Watched Videos in YouTube history. The promo has been watched more than 52 million times online and won the band a 2007 Grammy Award for “Best Short-Form Music Video,” but OK Go’s latest music video, released Monday, threatens to overtake that title.
Introducing “White Knuckles,” the latest single from the band’s new album Of the Blue Colour of the Sky, released in January.
While “Here It Goes Again” featured spectacular treadmill dancing filmed in one take, the video for “White Knuckles” gives a group of acrobatic rescue dogs a shot in the limelight. Since most of the pooches featured in the “White Knuckles” clip are in search of “forever homes,” the band has promised to donate a portion of all proceeds from the sale of the video on their site to animal rescue services across the country.
“These four-legged rock stars worked harder (and with a lot less complaining) than we did, and never ceased to make us smile during the extensive training and filming process…”
