Ty Inc., the creators of the ever popular Beanie Babies, is hoping for two more big winners with its latest creation–”Sweet Sasha” and “Marvelous Malia” dolls, inspired by our nation’s new First Daughters Sasha and Malia Obama.

The daughters of President Barack Obama appear to be the inspiration for the newest dolls in the TyGirlz Collection, but Ty creator Tania Lunden claims that isn’t a “fair” comparision.

“There’s nothing on the dolls that refers to the Obama girls,” she insist. “It would not be fair to say they are exact replications of these girls. They are not.”

The Sasha and Malia dolls are currently on-sale in gift shops across America.
