At a recent meeting with producers of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest, the New York Police Department expressed their apprehension over The Jonas Brothers’ scheduled New Years’ Eve performance in Times Square tomorrow night.
The NYPD fears the eagerly-anticipated concert could result in a “mob scene,” with thousands of teenage girls expected to flood the streets of Manhattan for a glimpse of America’s most popular sibling singing trio.
“So they’re now planning on using extra [security] men for support,” a source tells People Magazine. “It’s going to be crazy because everyone will be in Times Square to watch them perform on the show.”
