Note to Jenny Mollen: Candace Cameron Bure Isn’t Into Threesomes

Candace “I Wear My Christianity on My Sleeve” Cameron Bure (still best known to Millenials as Donna Jo Tanner) didn’t hold her tongue during a discussion about actress/writer Jenny Mollen on The View Wednesday.

The former Full House star, a married mother and devout Christian, was admittedly taken aback by some of the private nuggets divulged for public consumption on the pages of Mollen’s new book, I Like You Just The Way I Am. Among other anecdotes, the memoir recounts the time Jenny surprised her husband Jason Biggs (American Pie, Orange is the New Black) with a hooker for his birthday.

Ever the liberal, View moderator Whoopi Goldberg noted that the tome is filled with “great stories.” The more conservative Candace, however, took exception.

Color Candy confused: She simply doesn’t see how “hiring a hooker for your husband’s birthday” is funny? The clearly frustrated 38-year-old retorted:

“How is that a great story? I’m sorry, how is hiring a hooker for your husband’s birthday, how is having threesomes, how is that celebrated? I have a hard time finding the humor in that, as a woman who has been married for 18 years.”

Viewster Jenny McCarthy argued the humor was subjective and that a lot of people agreed with her.

“But when she was on the couch, she did not share her story in detail. She could feel from the crowd, I believe, that they were not as receptive to her stories and she really backed off…because I think she may be different written on a page or on Twitter than she is in person.”

Cameron Bure countered with:

“I have a sense of humor, but I have a hard time finding the humor in that.”

The View has been missing it’s “token conservative” ever since Elisabeth Hasselbeck jumped ship for greener (Read: More GOP-friendly pastures) at FOX News. It sounds like Candace could be just what the otherwise liberal panel is looking for.
