“No Church in the Wild” — Jay-Z and Kanye Release Riot-Ridden Music Video

Kanye West and Jay-Z are ready to televise their version of the revolution with “No Church In The Wild” — a new video inspired by a track originally featured on their blockbuster Watch the Throne. Set in Prague, the promo features Molotov Cocktail-hurling youth violently clashing with authorities.
Burning cars, blood and laser lights are all featured in the highly stylized riot-rave mashup, directed by Romain Gavras. Gavras is best known for M.I.A.’s controversial “Born Free” video — which depicted military forces hunting red-heads). Also lending a hand is crooner Frank Ocean, who adds a soulful hook over Kanye’s dramatic beats.
Noticeably missing from the “No Church In The Wild” video are the two rap regents themselves.
