Casey Aldridge is most likely safe from prosecution as a statutory rapist-in Louisiana at least. According state records in his homestate of Mississippi, Jamie Lynn Spears’ baby daddy is eighteen; meaning that no crime was committed when the young lovers did the mattress mambo.

CelebTV.com is reporting that the Department of Motor Vehicles in Mississippi has confirmed Casey’s DOB as April 29, 1989, which means he’s eighteen.

In Louisiana, the state in which Jamie Lynn said she plans to raise her baby, Casey could have been charged with statutory rape if he were nineteen.

Since he is eighteen, no crime has been committed. A nineteen year old Casey could have been charged with a felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile. The maximum penalty for the felony could be up to ten years in prison.

In Casey’s home state of Mississippi, where he reportedly works as a pipe layer, statutory rape only applies to sex with persons fifteen years of age or younger.
